Things to do in Fairfield: March Edition
There is always plenty to do in Fairfield! Here are Rick’s Picks for this month.
Check out some of NYC’s hottest comics in your own backyard! Check out acts that regularly appear in places like Comedy Central, The Late Night Show, and The Tonight Show.
Maritime Aquarium
Only the best of us could endure seal team training, but everyone can enjoy a seal training demonstration at the aquarium. Watch as the seals are fed and exhibit entertaining behaviors, including waving, jumping, snorting and retrieving. If teenagers around Totino Pizza Rolls just aren’t vicious enough, you should also check out their shark feeding exhibitions.
Boogie Down at FTC’s 60’s Themed Dance Party (3/2)
Motown and mop tops provide some of the enduring jams for FTC’s first ever 60s Dance Party. Helmed by DJ Peter G, it’s the kind of sweaty affair where you glance around and realize every single person in the place is busting a move—in other words, a perfect way to blow off steam from the workweek.
Psychedelic Beatles present a Tribute to George Harrison (3/8)
Feeling nostalgic, we’re doubling down on the 60’s theme with this tribute to George Harrison. Viva la bell-bottom jeans, amiright?
St. Patrick’s Day Parade (3/15)
Break out the green and make the trip to Bridgeport this St. Patricks’s Day! You can see the parade route here.
Irish Dance Showcase (3/14)
Check out Sacred Heart’s award winning Irish Dance Ensemble, The Claddagh Dancers, at their annual showcase celebrating Irish dance and culture.
Laugh Full at Half Full (3/21)
Come laugh with some of the best comics from all over the northeast and wash it down with a pint, or so. Your first beer is free, and food trucks are also on site.
