The Westport Historical Society has mastered a family-friendly yet spooky-filed Halloween attraction this Fall! The whole family will enjoy hayrides, pumpkin decorating, Spooky Hollow fortune readings, and more! Reservations are recommended, so be sure to buy your tickets in advance online!
New England Chowdafest: Sherwood Island State Park
October 6
What better way to start off the Fall season with unlimited sampling of award-winning hot chowders from all over New England! The annual Chowdafest at Sherwood Island is a three-time Yankee Magazine Top Event of the Season winner! Sample unlimited soups and chowders and vote on your favorite! All participation will help to fund over a half a million meals in the on-going fight against hunger. Be sure to come hungry, you won’t leave that way!
Mindfulness & Meditation in the Museum, Fairfield University Art Museum

Visit Fairfield University on October 10 for a free guided meditation session, led by nationally advanced master certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, Jackie DeLise. All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary!

This very popular indoor haunted house attraction is sure to bring on scream-filled entertainment! Vampires, zombies, clowns, and ghosts all live amongst the dark mansion at Fright Haven! The Taste of Fairfield brings together restaurants, markets, brewers, and the community to enjoy astonishing cuisine and hand-crafted beverages along with countless entertainment, right in the heart of Fairfield County! The event runs from 1pm – 4pm on October 13th, and tickets can be purchased upon arrival!

Fairfield has a special treat for you just in time for Halloween! Bring your family and friends on October 27th to Fairfield’s most spirited annual family event, Halloween on the Green! Families are invited to come in costume and trick-or-treat their way through the green, enjoy exciting giveaways and performances, spend time making spooky crafts, and more! The event runs from 12pm – 4pm and admission is free!
