WESTPORT P.A.L. RINK AT LONGSHORE
The Westport P.A.L. Rink at Longshore is outdoors and open until mid-March. It is located in the Longshore Club Park that sits right on the Long Island Sound. The rink is open to people of all ages and offers skate rentals. Click the link above for hours of operation.
Happy Hands Art & Pottery allows you to paint your own pottery. After painting your pottery, it can be glazed and fired so it is food safe for everyday use. It is a great way to bring people together to be creative and have fun. Happy Hands welcomes all ages to come down to paint!
The Glass House is a National Historic Landmark that is considered a modern marvel. The artist who built these proportions and the perfectly simplistic house was Philip Johnson. He built the 47-acre estate for himself in New Canaan, Connecticut, and was the first of fourteen structures that Philip built over a span of 50 years. There are tours available to gaze into the beauty in its composition with the rolling landscape. There are also multiple sculptures throughout the property, along with a painting gallery. MUSIC & COMEDY
PILLOW CONCERT: STEPHANIE AND SAAR
The celebrated duo, Stephanie and Saar, are performing a piece of four-handed music for piano by an eclectic array of composers. The Pillow Concert Series is part of the Suzuki Schools’ outreach program to bring people of all ages together. The participants are allowed to bring a pillow and get us close with the performers to introduce them to a community of arts. It is a top-quality performance that you won’t want to miss.
A NIGHT OF COMEDY FEATURING GLENN RAYMOND
Stand-up comedian Glenn Raymond is performing at Pieology in Stamford, CT January 15th. He also is a writer and social critic that provokes a smile and laugh on people. You will not want to miss this event so buy tickets today!
